Lutheran Women's Missionary League
Who We Are:
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For almost 75 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.
Our group was founded in July of 1920. At Trinity, Ladies Aid meets the first Thursday of each month at 1:30 PM, in the church social hall. Pastor presents an informative and inspirational message, followed by a short business meeting, goodies and fellowship. Please visit us. We would love to have you.
Some of our recent projects are: delivering meals to members just home from a hospital stay, preparing and serving funeral lunches, new tables, chairs and carpet in the social hall and remodeling the parsonage bathroom.
Ladies Aid of Trinity
At Trinity, we meet the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. Every woman in our congregation is welcome to join us! We support several mission projects including Camp Okoboji, Orphan Grain Train, Lutheran Prison Ministries, Lutheran Bible Translators, Mission Central, Dakota Boys/Girls Ranch, Lutheran Family Services, our local shut-ins and nursing home residents and Mite Boxes. National mites fund over $1 million in mission grants.
Saturday, July 22, 2017, LWML went to Faith Lutheran in Sioux City to pack MERCY MEALS. We helped pack over 11,000 meal packets!
